Library Media Center

Welcome to the Jo Byrns Middle/High School Library!

The Library at Jo Byrns Middle/High School is a very busy place! Our library is a friendly environment with many print and electronic resources. There are thousands of items available for students to use. We have 28 computer workstations that are equipped with software that allows students to extend their learning through technology. The library is open to students daily from 8:00-3:00. Books are checked out for two weeks. However, we encourage students to return books when finished.

Books in the JBHS Library can be checked out for a two week period. Students can return the book before it is due. If they are still reading the book, they can renew it for another two weeks.

Middle School students can check out two books at a time. High School students can check out two books at a time.

There are computers for use in the library. Students will need a written note giving permission for students to be on the computer.
