On November 5th, the Jo Byrns HOSA went on a field trip to the Bodies Museum in Atlanta, GA. We started the day by meeting at the school at 6:15 to get on the bus at 6:30. We had two teachers go with us: Mrs. Corbin and Mrs. Mayo. We left the school at 6:30. It took about five hours to get there, and we arrived at about 11:30. We ate lunch and then we walked to the body museum. The body museum is a museum that shows you the parts of a real person’s body. I thought it was cool to get to see all your internal organs and them not be fake or look alike. The bodies are embalmed with a special fluid to preserve the body. Some of the body parts included in the museum are all your blood vessels and most of your internal organs and skin; the only thing not real were the eyes. We spent almost two hours there and then we left took a long ride home from Atlanta. This trip was really fun, and you should join HOSA next year for more exciting field trips, fundraisers, and fun parties.
